Yeah the coins are reproductions. The 1st issue was only £1.99 so thought i would see what it was about. 2nd issue is out in 2 weeks comes with a coin folder and another coin. Might get it just for the folder.

If it's only £1.95 it's worth buying for the wallets. I bought a small book of them and even though I haven't got that many nice old coins to show off it's nice to see them all together.

What, you mean to say you don't like the wind and all that lovely rain !

I've got my clothes on a rota system. One in the wash, one on the clothes horse and one on..  Would you believe I went out in one of Johns water proof coats this morning. His suggestion because he said it was longer than mine  Roll Eyes

Im not fussed on having the reproduction coins but if i find a coin very similar it could help me id and the magazine also tells you about mint marks and a bit of history through the era.

If you look at the price of the mag and how many issues there are till the end you could end up spending hundreds of hard earned pounds ...but for under 30 quid and in most cases even cheaper there are lots of coin ID books which include all the info needed including mint marks I recently got a copy of seabys standard catalogue of British coins for a pound in a charity shop  Wink

Issue one is the promotional price of £1.99, issue two is the promotional price of £3.99 and issue three onwards are £5.99 each.

They have planned 50 issues for this collection but hope to publish many more.

best ask the local library to buy it and you can read it for free thereGrin Grin Grin
