Well from Europe anyway!
I've just seen on the web that Minelab are closing down their European depot in Ireland as of next week it seems to have come as a shock to Minelab users so unsure how long it's been planned but their email addresses in Ireland are already returning emails undelivered.
I know, or think, Steve is now back as the official repair agent but how warranty repairs will work I'm not sure, it's certainly not the way to go to gain customers Undecided

From my experience of Steve I would think he will still do work privately. Unless, of course, he's tied into a contract with Minelab that restricts him
I s'pose all will become clear in due course.

He is brilliant in fact once he had repaired one of my Explorers so fast I thought it had been returned by mistake, as you say he is the "agent" for Minelab he doesn't work for them as such Wink

He carried out a service on my sov elite and a minor repair on my se pro a couple of years ago.

Quick turn around and have not had any problems since.
