Folks,

One of the members on the Canadian Forum started a series of videos featuring various detectorists and their finds.

This one features women who metal detect.

Nice one Bill.  Only just found your post and watched a couple of mins.  I'll have to watch the rest tomorrow, I'm whacked, fell asleep and just checking in before I hit the hey.
Bought an iPad tablet and spent hours messing with it.  I'm brain dead.

P.S.  Another storm just coming in, more wind and rain Angry

Val,

Have a good night's sleep hopefully the weather will break and give you a chance to swing the coil.

I figured this episode with the ladies would be of interest to you.

No such luck for me end of March before I can detect.....I'm having withdrawals.

You me and a few others Bill.  Drove to our nearest town to pick up new tablet and was surprised how much water was collected in the fields we passed. Seemed like every other one had its own lake. Rivers running high as well, wouldn't!t take much for them to flood.
There are quite a few ladies on DW. I'm sure they enjoyed the Vid' you posted but are a little shy of responding.
As you sound so sure of when you may next get out I hope that doesn't mean you're incompcitated.

Val,

No problems on that score it's just with our cold winters it takes until the end of March for the snow to melt and the ground to thaw out.

Pleased to hear that Bill. Well not about the snow and frozen ground but that you're O.K.

The way our weather is this winter It'll be about the same for the land to drain. A village not far from here was set to take the U.K. Record for the longest number of days rain. They got to 82 days then they had a dry day. I think they had a party. Grin

Val,

If it rained that much here I'm be jumping off the nearest bridge...lol.

On a trip to the Dominican Republic met a retired chap from Northern England who had very pale skin he had just spent a month baby sitting his daughters dog...and 28 days of rain in a row....that was why he took the trip south.
