We've been using a Noritake set for our dinners for 16 years now - it was brought back from Japan in the '70s by the missus' grandparents.

Mike,

We also have a large service of Noritake fine china with gold trim.....we got tired of washing it by hand and it's pretty much in storage.

Fancy dinner parties are pretty much a thing of the past in our household.

Regards + HH

Ours also have a gold trim - and they're holding up well, chips and all, although they don't do so well in the microwave Cheesy
