MAD COWS EAT METAL DETECTORISTS !!!🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂

« on: January 24, 2016, 08:14:44 PM »

Hi to all,I went down to Tenby South with Wittsey1 on Saturday, actually it was my first detecting trip out since last November !! So obviously very excited on getting out there.
That's where the nice bit started to go down the pan!!
The detector I shave is a NOKTA FORS CoRe, its a BRILLIANT machine on the land,no problems whatsoever!!
BUT,the same machine on wet/dry salt beach sand is absolutely "PANTS" I have tried various recommended settings, programmings etc, three different coil sizes!
Do,in essence, don't think that that you are getting a "dual purpose" machine !!
As I said previously, the FORS CoRe is a BRILLIANT land machine, but as for its beach capabilities !!......FORGET IT.
P.S.anyone got a Minelab Sovereign GT they want to sell, send me a PM.👍

Sorry to hear about your disappointment with the detector. I'm beginning to think that dealers should run try before you buy programs. Not sure how they would organise them though.

Hey Chris, that's the way it goes, the Nokta FORS CoRe is a great machine, its easy to use(ON LAND)its very light,.....BUT ITS PANTS ON THE BEACH !!👎
Gone back to good old Minelab technology !! Grin
