Lovely find Wondering well spotted Wink I think I'd probably go with Dingdong on this one in it being Mesolithic but a knife as Tezza says it looks a little too well made to be Bronze Age but I would get it id'd and  recorded with your FLO for a firm dating Wink

It looks more Mid Neolithic than Mezo due to the size. Mezolithic are usually smaller. Going by your photo's , it looks like a combination blade / scrapper. with evasive retouch (steep angled) to the scrapper end. (the end opposite the white cortex end) and invasive (shallow angled) retouch to the blade edges.
A blade is usually classified as being twice as long as its wide.
I also found a similar one on Saturday and Geoff did take a photo of it.
Keep your eyes peeled cos if you find 1 theres usually more on the site
Great find and lovely colour to the flint.   Cool Cool Cool

Thank you all for the info, I will inform the FLO and get it recorded, was pretty much the only thing I found but was well worth the trip for and was great meeting some of the other members, some really local to me.

Thank you

George
