Yesterday we lost a long standing and respected  RARE member , Rod passed away Friday . He will be sadly missed by all who knew him , our condolences go to his family . RIP Rod .

 I met Rod a couple of times at rallies (he knows my husband) and he really was a lovely man. Terrible loss and my deepest condolences to his family

This is very sad news indeed a true gent of the detecting world without whom that world is a little poorer, condolences go out to Rod's family and friends.
