Battery replacement !!!

Hi,does anyone know if you can replace the batteries in the "DETECKNIKS" cordless headphones ?
The reason I ask is that I bought some Steepletone cordless earphones,and the batteries are not replaceable, that's not a concern as they only cost £20:00.
But one would ask,the "DETECKNIKS" headphones cost About£90:00 !!and are basically the same!!,however,if the batteries can't be replaced,that makes them a VERY expensive  item.
Any one got any answers,please,oh,by the way,the Steepletone earphones are very,good,in fact,very good indeed.

Jerry, don't have DETECKNIKS headphones, just wanted to know if you can replace batteries on these headphones, as on others similar to them you can't.

If the Steepletones are so good a d only cost £20  what are you  waiting for. Order 4 and it will only cost £80.  That way you sa e  £10 andget 4 times the cover.

Hi Val,I have the Steepletone's and they CAN'T have the batteries replaced,not a problem!!
My point is that if people are buying DETECKNIKS headphones, can they replace
the batteries in them?
I have read the reviews on the DETECKNIKS headphones, and nowhere in their blurb do they mention being able,or not to replace the batteries.
Just asking the question really, as if you can't,and the batteries are the same in each,and therefore, why spend all that cash on something that efectivly .disposable !!😟

I just rang Tony for you and the answer is yes batteries are available if the original ones go down.

Anyway the Sets are warrantied for 1 year.

I've bought some Steepltones myself, but I'm not as happy with them as I expected.

I used them on the weekend with my E-TRAC, but the tones I get from them are quite different from the tones I hear using wired phones / through the speaker (in fact, despite the fact it was very windy, I took them off and just used the speaker).

I also get crackling noises every so often

It is true that I have to use an adaptor to plug the Bluetooth dongle into the detector, but that doesn't affect the sounds when used with wired headphones.

Anyone else have this issue? I think for single tone (or dual tone) machines they would be good as you know it is only a high or low tone - just wondering if they are just not right for multitone machines.

Yes I'm afraid all FBS machines use an odd wave form for their tones (sawtooth) and your normal FM receivers can't reproduce.

Hi "Probono" as Chef pointed out to me prior to me buying them that the Steepletone headphones would NOT be successful  if used on an FBS set up.
BUT,should be fine on my NOKTA FORS CoRe, and .....they are brilliant, every thing just right!!
My only beef's...that they are not waterproof, and that you cannot replace the lythiam batteries, but there again for£20:00 you can't complain can you,if you find you can't use them,let me know (PM me)  please let me know much you want for them.👍
