I detected from about 6am to 9-30 am.

It was soon very obvious the Beach had been well detected...lol

Very little re cent finds so using my 12 x 15 SEF coil i ventured to bay area 7 which
usually has some deep finds and didnt dissapoint today..got a bit of gold so came away
quite happy.

The ring was about 8" deep but the deepest find of the day was the mucky £2 piece
came out of soft sand  at about a spit and a half on a border edge spade
i had to scrape the encrustation off it before i could see anything.
I am just glad i kept the SEF coil on the machine as it seemed to make the
vital difference....PaulB. Cool
