Well what a great days detecting I had yesterday,and all thanks to WITTSEY1,He invited me onto one of his permissions, well I suppose it was initially down to the existance of Detecting Wales,thanks DW.
Well it was a first for me,I managed to unearth my first Victorian silver three penny piece,could believe my eyes!!!A little beauty !!!
Plenty of buttons,one is a silvered livery button,looks like a SWAN on the normal bough,nice!!
Also a button which I would appreciate some help with some ideas,it shows three cannons,one on top of the other, with what appears to be a kings crown on the top!!!
What a great day,and as I previously said all down to Wittsey1, thanks Steve.👍

Makes a difference getting into a field that a few people have visited in the past.  Trouble round here Chris is it only took one Herdsman to round up the cows, one Man and his dog for the sheep and they didn't get paid in silver. (and I still think they held up their trousers with string) Roll Eyes

Thank you for your company and glad you enjoyed the outing dingdong. Some interesting bits turned up although I hav'nt cleaned mine off yet.. Interesting that you should find a Royal Artillery button, I have found two Royal Artillery badges in those couple of fields in the past. I like those little Three penny bits to.
