two of them look like blank disks im just assuming they were once coins the Victoria two shillings I hit with the trowel and its pretty worn anyway but I'm made up with the George 3rd shilling it looks pretty gud...(when I first seen the bust I thought Roman !!! ha ha ha) Cry

Hi, could the two blank silver disks be love tokens of King Billy, not sure if you find the in Wales but you get them a lot up in Scotland?

David

We do get them here - that's almost certainly what they are.

Cheers, that's amazing to this the 300 years ago people all over Scotland hated him  Grin Grin. Thanks again David

Ah, to clean or not to clean ?   It's a loaded question.  If you find a hoard it'd have to be reported and the Archies don't like you to clean anything.
Your Viccy isn't old enough anyway so it's up to you.  Standard way is with spit and  silver foil.  Take a piece of foil, spit in it, place coin in, spit again and seal up foil nice and tight.   Gently rub foil between finger and thumb, leave a couple of mins' then unwrap. Swill under tap.  Repeat if needed.
this should remove the worst of it but staining might remain.

Very serious.  You'll chance a scrapper if you use chemicals.
