only out a few hours but found more coins in that time than all the months ive been trying every time i seen a coin me heart went hoping it was a Roman but not to be im gutted ha ha never found one

two of them look like blank disks im just assuming they were once coins the Victoria two shillings I hit with the trowel and its pretty worn anyway but I'm made up with the George 3rd shilling it looks pretty gud...(when I first seen the bust I thought Roman !!! ha ha ha) Cry

Nice selection of finds,get yourself a sturdy plastic trowel,ideal for winkling out those delicate coins without damaging them,well it works for me.
You can get these plastic trowels for a quid!! ASDA,in the spring !!!!👍

good advise..... mind you I think it was more down to my lousy pinpointing it was in the side of the hole not the middle as I thought thinking of getting a pinpointed been reading about the Macro one and the Garrett one  Wink

Hi, could the two blank silver disks be love tokens of King Billy, not sure if you find the in Wales but you get them a lot up in Scotland?
