Where am I?

« on: November 21, 2015, 08:57:38 AM »

Nothing to write home about but thought I would share my finds from yesterdays outing. The horse brass dates from about 1900 (I think) and has the number 185 stamped on the back. Don't know what the other patterned fragment is.

Always nice to find one of those brasses. Well done on taking advantage of the dry spell. I took advantage of another over grown bush.

Well done Wittsy in "All about horse brasses" your type is listed as "early heart type" which usually puts it more in the first half of the 19th century rather than 1900 Wink

That wind was bone chilling m8. Plenty of snow on the tops at the moment in North Wales.
