Cord-less headphones..... Again!!!

Got to tell you!!!
A few days ago I asked on DetectingWales about if any one had anything to say,good or bad about "wireless headphones suitable for metal detecting.
At that time I was seriously considering buying a set from a well known supplier
of metal detector pieces  bits and bobs!!!
The price from them is around £90:00!!! Including post &packaging!! Hemmm!!! not a bad price!!actually, not a bad price at all!
Then I got a word from Chef Geoff,telling me,fine,but before you buy them,take a look at these,he gave me some links to follow,which took me on to a company called Steepletone products:was.Steepletone. com,search for:Steepletone rf wireless folding digital headphones.
So,the first thing that I was impressed with was the virtual identical specification
 Well impressed,!!!and it gets even better,the whole price includes free delivery !!
And full one year no quibble guarantee!!!
So yesterday, the arrived,disappointed,certainly not,they are brilliant, they work extremely well with my NOKTA FORS CoRe,if there is any delay,its hardly,if at all noticeable,
And more to the point,Chef saved me £70:00 !!!
Once again Chef,thanks for the heads up!!,and an even bigger thanks for saving me a big wad of cash.👏👏👏👏👏👍

Just bought some to replace my XP Deus backphones - that's the second set that have broke.....the Cardiff Chrome finally gave up!

Hey Probono, what in the heck is Cardiff chrome

Gaffa Tape / Duck Tape (although for years I thought it was Duct Tape). It's the special silvery version used in Cardiff to patch cars up . I used it on my head phones when the boy (or the girl - nowadays it could be either) managed to break the hinge at the middle of the phones.

My son and I yesterday cut off all the wires from the backphones - I need to find some new cord to attach to them using my shiny new soldering iron - I keep laughing every time I think of them as my boy calls it a 'smoldering iron'!

It is Duct tape though it used to be Duck tape in the 1940's and there is still a brand using that name you weren't wrong
