Here’s my best of last week’s searches guys, 1\4 Duro unit nibbled, bronze  satater beaten up a bit, a silver Soldino? Bronze awl, a couple of roman 1 x Sestertius  and a silver washed, a nice roman spoon handle minus the bowl, the brooch is defiantly an early example, Aucissa variant 1st century AD, although similar to an Alesia continental type of late 1st century BC?? In Hattatts, may be Geoff or someone could confirm. The small round piece of roman pottery appears to have been made in to a counter or gaming piece defiantly not natural wear and tear. Good hunting this weekend.

Lovely finds Paul and spot on with the brooch id, you've got a good length of occupation there and going by the spoon it wasn't your average hovel either Wink

Fantastic again - the sestertius looks to be Severus Alexander, and the follis is of Diocletian.

Are you sure you haven't found where the BM leaves all its surplus finds Cheesy
