Whilst I was still using the Garrett EuroAce I made plenty nice finds and found the performance acceptable fro my needs. As I progressed, I started to use a Nel Tornado coil on pasture and a Garrett Super Sniper coil on scrub land and in tight spots where one couldn't swing the other two coils.

Since upgrading to a MineLab Safari, I have found an improvement in my beach finds and have added a number of silver items to my finds boxes, but recently I have been finding the need for a smaller coil that can get me into those tight spots. Initially, I have been contemplating a Cors Shrew,
a Nel Snake, or a Nel Sharp. Any advice, or suggestions, would be most welcome. But keep the suggestions clean!  Wink

Personally I think the Nel is too small for any practical purpose and is a specialised bit of kit in the same way but at the other end of the size scale as the 17"x 21", having used a few smaller coils over the years I've found the best to be the SEF 8"x 6"  Huh
