Just returned to detecting after a break of 30 years. A new ctx3030 to try out, light years away from my old c-scope. First challenge is to get the personal messages working as the verification letters are not showing. Can anybody help as I am trying to reply to a welcome message and the v letters do not appear.

Firstly, welcome back to detecting and welcome to Detecting Wales.

Second, as you have just joined ,the machinery thinks you are a Newby.  You have to make, I think, 5 posts before it will allow you to make personal messages.

Not a problem, just answer a few existing posts.
