I found this cut quarter at the weekend on the same site as the cut half of John I found recently. It looks very similar but I'm not sure if there is enough on it to positively ID it...

Could do with slightly sharper photos Dom, but it looks like the reverse reads 'O.ON'

The only moneyer with a name ending in 'O' is Hugo, which could be Lincoln Class 1b, Northampton Class 1a-1b or York Class 1a-2.

So most likely to be Henry II, but could be just into Richard I.

Thanks Doc, as iron Giant says it's amazing what you are able to glean from so little information! My phone is terrible for taking close ups but I will try to get a better photo.
