Thats a lovely looking box and a great find. Try some gentle heat with a hot air gun, or failing that use a hammer Roll Eyes Grin

Hi

Try very hot water and then straight into icy cold water (use tongs!) a couple of times. As it expands and contracts it hopefully will break the seal

No joy yet on the opening!!?? Tried boiling water & straight into cold! It's been soaked in WD40 for 24 hours still no joy. There are some workers up the road with a pneumatic drill..... I'm wondering???  Watch this space..
