Hi to everyone,
I was wondering if it would be possible for the forthcoming RALLY(S) to be videoed?, the reason for asking is that many of would love to attend but various reasons,cant,yes its fine being told about this and that,but it would be really great if someone could get around the rally,introduce a few names to faces,as well as having a good idea as to how things generally went.
If its a no,then OK,it was just an idea!!👍

hi dingdong ... good suggestion, i know that in the past there have been a few DW rally videos set to music, posted up in the rally reports, by Taff. The videos have been well received. But like anything, it all takes time and it comes down to the personal commitments and time pressures that people have, as to whether a video is posted or not.

look for the one wearing the gopro headcam, whilst detecting!   lol

This was filmed by Proconsol's son about six years ago.


There are a few on youtube, but it's difficult having someone with the knowledge and editing time who doesn't want to detect. Any volunteers out there?

I ding dong I use my camera phone for a few shots better than nothingit should be the same downloading photos off your phone to the site if you short videos should be the same PS if my tennis elbow are ok

I agree with dingdong it is a great idea as it would be nice to put faces to names but as already said who would do it as you cant detect at the same time as filming

yes its always nice to put faces to names however if you attend a rally,you could get to talk to people as well, which is better than any video, advance notice of the rally is always given so people can arrange in advance to attend,unless they are not well on the day maybe, but then there is always other rallies.that could be attended, i would offer to video and edit the rally   [done it various times]  but being as it will be my first time at a rally with dw, i would like to detect as most others would.
