Well I'm no nearer knowing exactly what these darn things are but I have I.D'd the 'symbol' on the 1st one (pic on page 1 )
It's an old  'F'   so disk one has F & G.  I spose that's progress.  I'm definitely building up the alphabet.

Need to find some more.

I think it's a tunic button, probably 17th century, from a wealthy land owners outfit, maybe a soldier/officer!  but collectable whatever! Thats come of a good friend of mine who is a coin dealer .i bet that remark has upset the cart 😉
