I had a few hours out today and managed about 20 roman coins and a brooch fragment, I placed a tiny minim on a 1p for size, I was led to believe they were clipped to this size? and why? any info on they would be great Wink

The small chipped Roman coin looks unusual to me any ideas who it is? Im not even sure if its a bloke or a women?

Thanks in advance Wink

When the rain stopped a mate phoned he was after a quick hunt...... So we headed to the same farm but a different field away from the main settlement, it was pretty quiet but some Romans did pop out.

I also picked up a few clay pot rims Wink

Cheers all for your comments

That was a very busy 3 hours Dale and some really nice finds to show for it.

Just curious,  why have you got tape around the charging points ?

It keeps flashing in the bedroom, I like to keep my machine away from the kids

As long as it's only the Deus that's flashing I can live with that.  Makes sense to down grade the attraction for the kids. Little fingers, big problems. Wink

p.s. talking of kids, do we ever grow up.  My new tablet whistles at me every time I get an EMail.  Always makes me smile Grin Roll Eyes

Well done again Dale - some nice condition coins amongst that lot - the little roman (if I read it correctly) is of Theodora - (mother of Constantine?) - I should remember who exactly there are one of these days Smiley
