Well what a cracking day, full of finds, buckles, buttons, coins and partifacts. Detecting is always made better when you unearth a bit of silver but when that silver is hammered you end up with the biggest smile.
The small hammered is worn nearly slick you can just make out some markings, the other one isn't the best either come off the worst from a fight with a plough by looks of it and the other side looks like it was ran over by a train, derby and a marching band but hey i will take it ITS HAMMERED wahoooo Smiley

hope someone will be able to i.d it for me Cheesy

Thanks

George

Is that roughly just over or roughly just under lol I'm afraid there are no "roughlies" with hammies as the sizes can be quite close Wink

looked into the James 1st coin and found some markings on it that did not match the English ones so I found an Irish picture and its a Hibernia  woop, you can just see the one half of the crown on the front, and a bit of writing.
