I chose the gortex today, boy did I need it, soaked, and cold, managed 3 hours Lol, still had what looks like a blade of a bronze age dagger, couple of grots and a bronze ? handle or something who knows probably roman though. Nice hot bath tonight and look forward to a cold in a few days.....great hobby isn't it.
