Hi all,

I've been detecting for a few months now and introduced myself on this forum earlier in the year. Been on a couple of DW rallies a few months back too.

I'm moving to Carmarthenshire in a few days' time, so wanted to ask for advice on MD clubs in/around Carmarthenshire.  The nearest town to where I'm moving will be Llandeilo so any clubs close to there would be awesome.  I've seen mention of a 'Carmarthenshire Metal Detecting Club' but can't find any details as to whether this still exists?  Any suggestions on other active clubs that don't have a several year waiting list???  Grin Grin Grin

not eared of any club around llandeilo area but you could try the Swansea mdc. We meet twice a month at the Coopers Arms neath rd. Next meet is find of the month (FOM) 2nd September, after that if it's to soon the 16th.

hello detectingly  there is another detecting site based in swansea,     they are called   celtic searchers they are a good friendly and helpfull group.  i hope this helps you out and good luck with relocating.

They are not based in Swansea!   try Llanelly/ Llanelli ...

There is also Pembrokeshire Prospectors meeting 1st Thursday in month at  Haverfordwest. Smiley

Pembrokeshire prospectors is a good club,problem is,they have a huge waiting list to join,however,they will allow you to attend two or three of their monthly meetings as a guest.

Hi heritage MDC is also based in Swansea meets are held at the Ford's club  with regular visits to llandillo area.

My mistake the peoples club is just a web forum ,closest would be the celtic club in Llanelli.
