Rings Lost ( Help)

Young mum was on holiday in Looe harbour beach last week, lost 3 rings on dry sand, very sentimental, one with her mums ashes infused, any body in the area fancy helping.

I'll be in Cornwall week beginning 17th Aug so would be very happy to help if she's not sorted out by then.

If she's local to the beach maybe she could check out the position regarding permissions, as I gather the council allows detecting under licence on certain beaches but not on others. I've been trying to ascertain the situation myself but it appears complicated - especially when I'm in North Wales. I'd almost decided to leave the detector at home because of this.

Hi Cymro, I think she has had many offers now so I hope som one manages to reunite the rings with her thanks. To be honest I am not sure on which beaches are under license if at all either. That  said personally I would crack on and search after getting an idea where it was she had lost them,

When I was in Looe six years ago there was  a sign forbidding metal detecting on the beach.
