Hi Greg,and all,as promised,the first picture of the lead lion,sorry for the poor quality of the picture,I will endeavour to get something a bit better,it was detected on farmland in West Wales last week,and I might add,not by me but by my detecting buddy Andy,I think it could be made from a musket ball,well the weight's about the same,more information to follow,thanks for looking,and I await your comments

Hi Jayhay69,your lion looks a lot more Roman than the one my mate found
Yours seems to be made of bronze,my mates is definatly made of lead,so not too alike!!!...thanks for showing it.👍

Ye, my mate found it near Llandovery, the FLO said it was c1700 decorative item,whatever that means.
