Been looking on the internet to see if you can metal detect in Cape Verde but have been unable to find out. Can anyone shed any light on this. Thanks.

I detected the beaches there in 2004 without any problems, not much to find inland as the islands were uninhabited until the 15th century, I was hoping for pirate treasure but did get 2 gold rings and a charm bracelet Wink

Pirate treasure would be nice! Lol. Thanks for that, the detector is definitely coming along for the holiday now.
