hi guys decided to sell up for a while   Cry every time i go out with a bad back i am coming home and spending more time in bed than i should be , so decided to take a year out , i would like to swap my kit for a nice camera and lens so i can use it in the garden
my detector is a nokta fors core which is easily on par with my last xp Deus for ease of use and good depth ,it is around 1 year old and comes with the box but no coil cover protector ,1 set of rechargeable duracell ultra  batteries which last easily 5-6 rallies
headphones are purpose built for this machine by mr chefphones and they work superb
i can also supply for the right deal my garrett pin pointer garrett finds pouch and a jb stainless steel digging spade which i had made last year

this has been a very hard decision for me to leave detecting for a while as i love it so much
i also have a pair of size 9 black gore-tex boots and water proof coat and trousers if it is a good swap
or i would sell detector and headphones for £350 or complete with spade and pointer for £400

Sorry to hear that JCB but it's something that you can't ignore.   Not too far off myself but too stubborn to give in yet.

Best of luck for a good swap.

Sorry to hear you are leaving the metal detecting fraternity for a while,I do so hope that the break from detecting gives you the rest you need.
I would also like to add that I am a proud owner of a Nokta FORS CoRe and any one contemplating a change of machine, well look no further,it's a brilliant detector, and very light too.
Good luck for the future JCB,and hope to see you back here soon.👍

Where am I?

« Reply #10 on: July 27, 2015, 05:29:53 AM »

I've got a partial slipped disc at the top of my spine which at times causes numbness and pain in my right arm/hand but we tend to push ourselves and do things that perhaps we shouldn't and try not to think of the what ifs. I know, but I don't know when, that the disc will more than likely slip out completely. then I am knackered. So I do sympathise with you and hope the problem can be put right and you can get back out soon. Good luck to you.

Sorry to hear that you are having major back problems and are selling up. In recent months, I have found that an old back injury keeps playing up and it takes a day or two for the back pain so ease off. Going to try a long handled sand scoop on the beach and hope that it helps matters.

You could always get someone to do the digging for you!

Stay safe and look after yourself.
