The lozenge shaped brooch is not attached to the wire one.
Its a bit of a guess but do you think the riveted leather could of been off Roman armour?

Any unusual brooches Geoff?

Nothing that unusual as far as style is concerned but certainly in condition and if from one site then time span as well, the bottom rosette brooch is an early variety and a more normal find from the east of the country Wink

There not my finds Val there a friends, I haven't had the time yet this year to go detecting Undecided but over the next few months I shall try and pop out Cheesy

As Geoff has already pointed out Dale, nothing particularly unusual other than they are a cracking collection of finds more so if from one site due to the time span, all credit to him, he's in the Zone mate. Thanks for sharing with us Wink
