now its not an english silver hallmark ( well i dont think so ) , it smells of eggs when using silver foil ( does silver plate do this  Undecided ) , is it silver , foreign , plate Huh?

any suggestions most welcome  Smiley

Yes silver plate can smell the same as solid as it's the silver sulphide that forms on it that smells and yes it's silver plate by William Hutton & Sons Ltd of Birmingham 1893- c.1930
