This was the only coin today.
A George halfpenny, but is it. The date appears to be 1790?

Just a thought. Is it a fake half guinea? its the same size and the faint shield outline appears to have the 3 fleur in the top right hand side.

It might be a gaming token, there are some with the motto " for the good old days " on them. They are copies of the spade guinea I think.
