Wednesdays wander

Had 4 hours wander on Wednesday and came away with this little collection. Four pennies (1891, 1906, 1915 and 1929), Silver Threepenny Bit (1917), some sort of key, a little thing me bob?, copper alloy mount of some sort and a Lizzie Shilling (1572).

Nice, the key is for a barrel tap and the Lizzie is a sixpence. Well done.

Cheers dungbeetle, stand corrected on the Lizzie  . When you say barrel tap do you mean barrel of beer?

The thingy looks like a watch winder and the mount is a very nice saddle makers badge.

Nice finds

Sometimes the keys are quite unique, the foreman would have it to control the flow, you don't want the greasy oiks helping themselves, no work would get done...  It would just end up with a workforce looking like deadlock after his stag weekend
