hey ding.   i made my own straight shaft out of a decoraters pole the type that extends the inner part will fit the lower part of the shaft on a minelab sov elite should be the same size as yours, the handle i used was from and old petrol strimmer and i put the padded grip off the sov on the handle,  then i drilled 2 holes to fit the arm cuff and bolted it on,  if youve got these bits hanging round as i did it don,t take long to put together.cost me nothing but a bit of time.
