Where am I?

« on: June 09, 2015, 12:05:09 PM »

This is my first decent find and the one that got me really hooked on the hobby. Roman Bow type brooch 1st/2nd century AD. Polden Hill Type according to FLO. Found it back end of 2012.

Very nice Steve and in pretty good condition, it's certainly a strange one for as your FLO has rightly said it has the Polden hills spring arrangement and is known as a Hattatt 905 type though it has enamel and side mouldings similar to a T brooch Wink
