A lot of buttons, many coins, some things I cant identify, and a few relics and what would have been and might be if I manage to find the parts, ( you never know, I already found 1 part)  a nice cow bell.

This permission has been very productive and still has many fields that I haven't been on and the fields I have been on well need to be done more as every time I walk across them I end up finding something lol. No more hammered's have come up yet but I still hold on to the positive that there are more to be found.

I hope you enjoy the finds so far, although I don't know what a few things are and if someone could ID the 1 button on its own I would be grateful, its the 3 feathers with shield and 3 cannons, obviously an artillery button but I am unable to put a date to it.

Thank you

George

To be honest I haven't got a clue though I do have an idea Grin the three cannons on a shield is the original insignia of the Royal artillery from the late 18th century this was changed in the 1870's but none of that type had the plume, the plume is the same as a crown or coronet in denoting the c-in-c or the founder, one regiment that kept the three canons for longer was the Honourable Artillery Company who's Captain General from 1863 was Edward Prince of Wales, later Edward VII Huh
Another possibility is that it's from one of the myriad of Militia regiments that existed in the early 19th century to defend against Napoleon's impending invasion Wink
