Found this a couple of weeks ago,it was/is still very,very,cruddy.
I have had the coin soaking in a very mild acidic solution since its finding,quite a lot of "crud" has come off,but as you can see its still in poor shape.The coin is defiantly copper,but what I find interesting is that there is  milled internal edge which is quite visible on one side
Size wise,the coin sits exactly into a 2new pence ,and about the same thickness,as for the detection,minelab "Sov GT".. Stock coil,found at a depth of
Eight(ish) inches
