it is rare that prospectors give their best corner
identify the biggest car parks and do some research with old postcard (often online)
will help you locate the areas to the largest potential  Wink

any popular beach can be poductive, swimmers = gold.
everyone knows my favourite beach is aberavon but i also like barry and various others .i will travel all over the place to find bling but it you need to get your timing right with tides and shifting sands to have a nice haul.
 i use tenby south,broadhaven ,newport,saundersfoot,llanstephan,cefn sidan,swansea bay,aberavon,porthcawl,ogmoore and barry.
i hunt mostly the wet sand on low tides
beaches are awsome when you hit them at right times.cant beat the feeling of goin home with gold in your pocket, the coins you get are just a bonus.
barry gets hammered by dectorists but just goes to show how good it is,if it was'nt then nobody would do it,enough said now go get some bling.
good luck
