Does anyone have any family links to the Varteg area of Monmouthshire/Gwent? I am particularly interested in WYATT, COLES, KINNERSLEY,MORRIS. Am having particular problems with the coles and Morris lines due to lack of info. Nick has been an absolute superstar in helping with my Wyatt line and many thaks to him for that.

Hi Phil. He is bound to be distantly related to me. My great grandmother was a Kinnersley from the Varteg and it is a pretty rare name I think. Cheers

Tah very much for the link.

Tafflaff....Nah not Irish...it is Anglo- Saxon. Unlike most of my finds which are early 21st Century.

My Kinnersley fore bearers are from Hereford.
