Welcome to DW Reg Wink The first is as you suspect a General Service corp button usually dating from WW1, the second is a bit more difficult but certainly a coin ummmm? I shall have a ponder and see if anyone else has any good id's.

Hi Alan, yes 15.6mm Diameter, 1.44mm thick (caliper across center)

ok, i'm going to support Bens comment that its more like a roman [than a georgian]. I must admit that it has the look a 4th century face about it.
