Ok guys this is my second hammered and I'm loving the condition on this one, an ID would be great and if anyone can help on cleaning it as the only way I know of is vinegar and salt.

Thanks for looking

George

With Hammies try the spit and foil way of cleaning.
Get some kitchen foil, put the hammie in the middle, spit on the coin and VERY gently rub the coin in between the foil.
You will get an "eggy" smell as the coin reacts, and the coin will start to clean up, but don't go to mad or you might ruin the coin, but in the end it's your coin.
Some will say don't clean, others will say clean, depends on what you want in the end  Grin
Well saved, nice hammie  Cool Cool

Thanks again guys and will be going back to that permission this weekend  Grin hopefully more to come.

More stuff does come off the permission but most of the usual stuff goes to the farmer as he likes the stuff that would usually get tossed into the scrap pile.
