It's a pulse induction unit unlike all others, therefore will interfere with many machines. Sad

Hi Mark,I was also having problems with my x-pointer, i only kept it for a couple of weeks, the x-pointer seemed to develop a mind of its own,in the end it would only work on vibrate only!!pure frustration!!!
In a final desperate phone call to " Detectorbits "I agreed to post off my " duff" x-pointer in exchange for a new replacement, well Mark I have used it once in the "field" and so far it seems to perform as a pointer should, but I must say that it does seem that you have to use it as requested, you have to hold it away from the hole, depress button, and let it beep three times before you offer it to the approximate target!! yes it is a bit of a pain having to wait.
I am not totally convinced that I have done the right thing by purchasing this x-pointer.
However, the guy at "Detectorbits"..... TONY..was more than helpful to overcome any problems I was having, give him a ring or e-mail him and I am sure he will offer to sort it out,he did for me,oh, and remember they are guaranteed for 2 years.oh,one more thing,my problematic x-pointer was also yellow, ask him to exchange it for a grey one, that's what I got back and it seems to work!! Let me know how you get on,Good Luck,Chris.
