Keeper of the Lights

« on: March 07, 2015, 07:11:08 PM »

I'm considering  joining the fairy stick brigade, and i'm thinking of going for the full  Deus set up, but before I take the plunge and
buy a new one , has anyone got one they're looking to sell. I'm looking for one no older than 2 years old and preferably with the
WS5 headphones.

It'll drive you mad Dylan.  The more I read about it the more confused I get.  If I thought John wouldn't throw me out I offer you mine. Shocked Roll Eyes

Being a Man (I think) he's well into his techno. and thinks it's a wonderful piece of equipment.  Maybe I should send him out to do some detecting with it. Grin

After watching Garys Deus videos posted on here a few weeks ago, I decided to join the fairy stick brigade, I bought the full version, there are so many preset programs, to choose from, having watched Garys videos for several hours, the Deus does not seem so daunting to tweek etc, that said iv'e not tried it yet, so lookout Andy I will probably be following you around on the next rally lol, Dylan Iv'e got the back phones with my Deus, ( there very good), you can buy Chefs Deus phones, and save yourself a lot of money,  ....

Poor Andy he's going to have both of us hanging from around his neck, With The Museum. co.uk theres only a £10 difference between WS4 AND WS5 at the moment. The 9 inch coil handset and WS5 - £1,109

dont forget ken you can play around with any setting in 1-10 and as long as you dont save them when you knock it off it will all be as factory settings again so you can play to your hearts content in the safety of knowing you cant damage or ruin your settings

Lol it will be a pleasure to show you all I know guys... That should take me all of 5 minutes lol...

Personally I prefer lightweight headphones and the standard ones from xp are fine for me, you can always upgrade later if you don't like them but they are pretty dam good really and only around £20 to replace (controller excluded of course) I haven't seen the ws5 in the flesh yet so if you prefer the larger sort of headset and there's not much price difference then I guess you could go with those and add a spare set of lightweights for another 20 quid... Just check that the controller part of the WS 5 is the same and removable from the head set so they can fit the standard fitting on the lightweights or chefs phones.

Look forward to seeing the shiney new machines on a rally soon Wink
