Had to wait until St.Davids day to find my first hammereds of 2015. The lizzie sixpence has the inverted 8.

Nice hammies Rob. The Lizzie looks more like the inverted 8 over 7 variety to me. I can't make out the mint mark, but it's often also an over-strike, cross over eglantine if I remember correctly.

I'm still waiting to find anything remotely silver, let alone any hammereds so far this year - if I don't find something soon, it'll be summer before I find anything as work's sending me off to the states for a month... Smiley and Sad
