Hi all

I finally managed to get 4 hours in on the beach while the weather was fine yesterday.
I wanted to try out my new headphones and hit an area where I have been detecting many times before. I was very please with the way the headphones muted out the windy conditions allowing me to hear the fainter deeper targets better. I found they are very comfortable to wear and a nice snug fit. I love the sound that they produce very informative. Any way on to the finds…..

All these finds came from an area on the beach littered with old building rubble and old rusty parts from the jetty.

Best find of the day was a mans chunky 9ct 375 Gold (plated) Necklace..

Thanks Cheffy Wink

Cheers

TF

That's an impressive haul of keepers by any standard .  Shame about the chain but well found anyway. Fingers crossed for next time.

I thought it was against the law to have hallmarks put on items if they were not of that metal.Maybe the clasp/clasps are 9ct (check) and the rest is not. Will make me think about having any gold chain checked if I buy one at anytime.Sorry you were disappointed but good luck next time I would be gutted.

Hi all

After yesterdays hunt I decided to have another go this time a little further down the beach.

Managed a few fishing weights and a few more coins, best finds were these 2 rings 1 is silver the other looks gold but cannot see a hallmark. The ring looks like it’s been resized.

The rings were found around 4 inches deep

Machine used Garrett AT-Pro Inter

Settings

Pro mode
Audio ON
Discrim 38
Sensitivity 3 bars from top
Auto GB to 12

Oh and Chefphones CP2
