On the 21st of February  the forest of dean club are holding a one day rally  nr lydney in gloucestershire these are all new fields and are a mixture of stubble and pasture we only have enough space for 80 attendees and the price is 10 pound for the day and all money raised goes to the Lydney rfc youth squad  all info can be found can be found on the web site www.forestdetectors.weebly.com hope to see you all there

unfortunately i'll be away for this one.but i think i recall hearing there was a lot of roman activity in lydney,and a few nice finds thereabouts.well worth attending me thinks.
