Talking of batteries, am I right in thinking that the higher the MaH of a battery means longer life of the battery.

My rechargeables [  4 x AA ] were 4.99 and are 2900MaH. They can be charged 1000+ times and each charge gives a full  2 days out detecting before I need to recharge. So that's 2000 days or 6 years solid detecting for a fiver.   Wink

works  out around 1-2 pence per battery to charge  Cheesy you have to add in the cost of the charger for the first year but it soon becomes happy days Wink

Ok...maybe an extra tenner a year to charge - that's still a good deal to me  Grin

But,you still can't get away from the fact that they are comparatively less expensive than normal retail price,If you read the initial piece I said it was for those who, like me use AABatteries,NOT,as a comparison to rechargeable batteries!OK? Angry
