Been out  couple of times with the xp Deus  found couple of coins % bits 4%5ins down doug newhall 8to9ins  popped coin in back filled hole no signal all the proper setting is it normal for the xp or have the coin got 2  b in the ground for some  time

Hi Mark it really depends on "the ground" and what the mineralisation is like this is why it's dangerous listening to other people saying "I found a hammered penny at 7" with my machine" which they may well have done but we don't all detect in the same field even field tests in magazines are pointless unless they were (which they aren't) doing a side by side comparison. Your 5 or 6 inches may very well turn in to 8 or 9 on different ground Wink

sometimes if the ground balance isnt right you get no signal,always handy to check it regular Smiley
