This is a new and exciting burial find more info to follow in the next few day,just take a look at this beauty Smiley recorded by professional archaeologists - including Helen Geake, Anglo-Saxon specialist (of Time Team fame)

Nice.

I think the gold / garnet combination is some of the most impressive stuff out there. Doubt I will ever find any, but it would be just fantastic to see it peep from the soil.
