The last item looks very much like a Roman knife handle. I've found a couple very similar.

aah thanks, I hadn't considered a knife handle due to its size, was thinking more down the lines of a key end as there is a little rusty iron remaining at the opposite end from the circles  Wink

The button on the right is a General Services button.  Used through the 1st WW right up to and including 2nd WW

Well done on the finds and I can see why you thought key, with the buttons can you read what it says on the left hand button?
Just to add to what Val has written the General Service buttons are probably the commonest military button there is and 99% date to WWI as all enlisted men regardless of regiment had these on their uniform and after the war only the greatcoat had to be returned so uniforms probably became work clothes, in saying all that your button isn't one of those lol in fact yours is one of the more unusual in that it dates to the 1880's (so think Gordon of Khartoum time) for two reasons one being the Queens crown and two Player Bros of Birmingham only made these during the 1880's so to get one in that condition is stunning Wink
